*1747, †1808, head of the royal mining company, Hanover, member of the Illuminati under the code name Sala.

(1747 Hannover – 1808) Lutheran – In 1777, he was employed by the State Grain Warehouse, then became a mining company clerk in Hannover. In 1794, he became Second Commissioner, in 1796 he was appointed as the Head of the Royal Mining Company, and in 1805 he resisted the French occupying forces.

• Freemasonry: June 1783, member St John’s Lodge “Friedrich Zum Weißen Pferde”, Hanover; June 1784 journeyman; Dec. 1802 member of the Engbund.
• Illuminati: July 1782 Novice, Minerval.
