When Sanctification Went Awry
Apostles today are necessary to gage the spiritual growth of the church. God wants the church to abound and increase in His grace. The true spiritual gage to measure the growth of the church is the apostle’s calling.
“And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:” (1Thessalonians 3:12)
Paul did not gage growth by text or numbers, but by the anointing. When the spiritual gage was removed from the calling to the text, then the calling was also found to be the less necessary and useful to monitor the growth and direction of the garden of the Lord.
The Subtle Ways of the Serpent to Deceive
The serpent entered the garden by subtlety. His presence was not broadcast to Adam by the angels and neither did they jump to his defence. So how was the serpent’s presence discovered? The serpent’s presence was perceived by the knowledge Satan presented through him to Adam and Eve. Even as Eve said, “The serpent did beguile me and I did eat.” (Genesis 3:13)
Why did Eve eat of the forbidden fruit? The serpent gave her knowledge that seemed true to fact, but did not carry the sanctification of God.
How did Satan trick Adam and Eve? He took knowledge from God and presented it to Adam in an improper way, turning it and twisting it in a way that made sense to Adam and Eve’s desire to reach for more than what God had given to them. This describes Satan’s perspective. Satan’s perspective is knowledge limited to darkness.
Why is Satan’s knowledge called “darkness”? Because when Adam accepted Satan’s knowledge his mind became darkened. He thought like Satan. He took on Satan’s perception.
The Church in Darkness
We saw this deception of darkness take place again in the recorded history of the church after the apostle’s calling was twisted into a person’s perception of the text of the Bible that was molded by sophistic reasoning,
As people rose up to voice their complaint against another man’s sophistic reasoning they were falsely called “reformers”. But they were not reformers, they lost the true gage of apostolic grace and replaced it with themselves.
Seeds of Sedition
Thinking they were sowing truth, they planted seeds of sedition to His government. The time of darkness was gathering more clouds as the church grew more heads of the hydra, which Apostle John saw would be in power when the church entered the last transition of Weeks.
The Placebo Anointing: False Gages
These theologians (which today call their research “apologetics”) argue their sophistic knowledge (darkness) to prove the truth of Christianity rather than abounding in His grace.
Truth was then set in the text in place of the calling. Those that do such fear deception, but fall into the same snare Adam did by the twist of the knowledge.
As the promise of the Godhead to Adam was removed from God and placed in the text so today people seek refuge in the Bible in place of stewardship.
Quoting the scriptures is tastefully sweet, but holds no power for the cure of the soul apart from the hand of the Lord. Satan switched the medication in those spiritual medicine bottles while stewardship slept in the days of those reformers, which proves that the anointing was absent in them so they replaced the power with commentaries for the moral code to induce a form of godliness absent of true regeneration.
Plastic Shekels Anyone?
Reformers current and past, created the Spiritual Industrial Age of the plastic shekel for the spiritually ignorant. The church was short-changed!
“All the gold that was occupied for the work in all the work of the holy place, even the gold of the offering, was twenty and nine talents, and seven hundred and thirty shekels, after the SHEKEL OF THE SANCTUARY.” (Exodus 38:24)
Christian leaders began to build a sanctuary of theology by the bricks of commentaries and nails of pastors and professors. Those boards that they fastened you to were not upright.
Hybrid Truth Produced Hybrid Plants in God’s Garden
These reformers minted thousands of plastic shekels embossed with their image, and their students wrote doctorates to authenticate these hybrid truths. What a mess! As the mixture of the seeds began to take shape, many hybrid plants claimed ownership of God’s garden, all claiming apostolic authority or divine inspiration, but possessing none in reality.
Claiming to have the heart of God they lost the mind of Christ. They lost the true gage of spiritual things of which Paul writes in his letters.
“Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teaches comparing spiritual things with spiritual.” (1Corinthians 2:13)
The gifts must match the pattern confirming the source and product,which the Spirit gives through His sanctified government stewardship.
The Gold Shekel: True Profit Value
True stewardship now marks the end of the plastic coins as the true currency of Christ is increasing in value in the hearts of those that believe.
“Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would ABOUND more and more.”1Thessalonians 4:1)
God restored to the church this gift for the perfecting of the saints coming into one House. The Spirit is taming that wild nature of brick throwing to gathering stones of charity. The mating season for increase comes by the knowledge God gives through the apostles anointing for the church.
“For if these things be in you, and ABOUND, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (2Peter 1:8)
The Waters of Noah – Cleansing and Separation
The waters of Noah increased for the cleansing and separation of Noah’s stewardship only to birth a new world through his sons. Starting afresh is not a new idea for God.
“Let me alone, that I may destroy them, and blot out their name from under heaven: and I will make of thee (Moses) a nation mightier and greater than they.” (Deuteronomy 9:14)
God is doing exactly that with apostles today under His sanctified stewardship, as the Spirit is testing the hearts and those that resist government will be separated with the hypocrites.
Those that are spiritually fruitless and barren will be cut off from the congregation of the Lord. The Lord will take them in the net of derision which is an evident token of their perdition.
“And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of PERDITION, but to you of salvation, and that of God.” (Philippians 1:28)
Those that measure their Christianity by the false gage are the adversaries of Christ. They having not the mind of Christ seek resolve of the conscience by the moral code, by the law which they think is sweet because it challenges them to set standards for the holiness of God by the gage of their own doctrinal sincerity and scriptural inclinations, which thing is idolatry.
apostles today are sent of God into the church to challenge this mind-set and to turn the hearts of the people back to God.
Flee Idols: Put On Christ
Your worthiness of Christ is found in the building of His House under one Spirit as the apostle Paul writes.
“Therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk WORTHY of the vocation wherewith ye are called,” (Ephesians 4:11)
Only those tethered to His grace will abound with the sanctified stewardship. But false apostles will set before you their failing denominational gages tailored to the exact measures of your moral code to give the soul a false justification. These turn the truth of God into a lie. The hypocrite is proud of his faith while under the spell of this false knowledge until the gage of the true gold shekel is seen, than they feel short-changed (naked).
As the Spirit addressed the church of Laodicea, saying “Buy of Me gold tried in the fire” (of the altar), so the Lord addresses the church today by His apostles. These having no true priesthood will wail and lament when they see they have been left behind.
The message of God’s true apostles today: No true salvation, no true regeneration, but a beautiful falsehood painted as a self-portrait to mirror the face of Christ for them. But it is an image of themselves they are painting and not the image of Christ.
“Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath NOT SEEN HIM, neither known him.” (1John 3:6)
The true gage allows sight to the eyes to behold the face of God in truth as the apostle John explains to those under his stewardship.
“That ye might walk WORTHY of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;” (Colossians 1:10)
Those that come into covenant will discover the sanctified shekel of gold in the apostolic stewardship, which gage will bring reproof and correction in righteousness to give you confidence before the Lord Jesus Christ. By this mind-set you will walk worthy of Him unto eternal life. For by faith you are saved!
