How to Use God’s Word Like a Sledgehammer to Demolish Poverty and Debt

“Is not my word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces” (Jeremiah 23:29 KJV)?

God’s Word spoken in faith can, like a sledgehammer, demolish any rock of lack and debt in your life and can create an image of prosperity and success within your heart. How do you get faith in God’s Word to demolish rocks of defeat, lack and debt that would abort your wants, desires and God’s plan for your life? You hear God’s Word.

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17 KJV).

But what is faith?“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1 KJV). Your faith (substance) gives reality to your hope (goal setter). Your faith is released through your words and actions. Let’s learn more on how to use God’s Word like a sledgehammer to demolish poverty and debt:

Let’s use an example of how you would use God’s Word for a particular financial situation. Suppose you would like to see your income increase and be free from lack and debt. The first thing you would do would be to get yourself some hope. That hope would be the Word of God. You would search your Bible and find three scriptures that promise financial hope.

Here are three prosperity scriptures the Lord gave to a Christian man who needed a financial breakthrough.

(1) “The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing” (Psalm 34:10 KJV).

(2) “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich” (2 Corinthians 8:9 KJV).

(3) “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19 KJV).

The Lord instructed this man to speak those scriptures out of his mouth in his room four hours a day. Why four hours? You might think that was cruel of the Lord. Let me explain:

If the Lord had instructed him to speak those three scriptures only ten minutes a day, it might have taken many months, years to see results because he had a big, big rock to demolish. You might have a big rock too.

Within weeks after obeying the Lord’s instructions, this man started to see positive financial results because that rock of poverty was being broken up by his faith-filled words and now an image of prosperity was being created in his heart by God’s Word. Yes, God’s Word can create a positive image within your heart based on the promises you consistently speak in faith.

I’m not telling you to lock yourself up in your room and speak three scriptures four hours a day, that is between you and God. But how soon do you want to see results? Within weeks, months or years? It’s your call.

But if you want to see the promises of God work in your life for healing, prosperity, peace, joy, wisdom, receiving the right spouse, a successful marriage, success in school, weight loss or whatever, then this God ordained format of speaking scriptures can work for you. Again, the time element is up to you.

Side note: Pray in tongues much each day. Why? This allows the Holy Spirit to pray the perfect prayers for any weaknesses you might have that would hinder God’s perfect will and destiny for your life. The following scripture supports this truth:

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God” (Romans 8:26,27 KJV).

Don’t believe in speaking in tongues? Read Acts 2:4.

So, to wrap it up, grab three scriptures out of your Bible that cover your situation and start hammering away at that ugly rock of resistance, then just expect to see your hopes become reality using the sledge hammer, your faith-filled words.

Financial three step plans, money making formulas and sowing and reaping scriptures can all be well and good, but if you have a poverty stronghold lodged and hidden in your mind, you may never enter your earthly wealthy place. If you feel you might have a poverty mental stronghold keeping you from your wealthy place and you want to be set free, then click on “Free from a Poverty Mental Stronghold” below.
